A co-worker from the fields gave me the phone number of CSF Surgery, I don’t have health insurance and I had colon cancer.
I had gone to many places, and no one wanted to give me insurance nor they wanted to treat me in hospitals for the same reason.
I called CSF Surgery, and they were all very good with me. In the clinic where they were treating me, they could not find help, nor could they put me in any program. Time passed and they did not do anything to me until I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with diverticulitis, but it turned out that it was not that. They did other studies (Colonoscopy), they saw that I had colon cancer and of course, they could not operate me without insurance. Since I was diagnosed with cancer until I finally found CSF Surgery, thanks to my friend who called to make an appointment for me, many months passed that I felt very bad.
The appointment at CSF was very fast and when I arrived, I felt so comfortable…, (crying)… without their help I would not have been able to make it… Dr. Enriquez speaks Spanish well and told me that the surgery was urgent, so my appointment was on a Monday, Friday I did some studies and on Wednesday of the following week I had surgery. I stayed at Memorial Hospital for 4 days and they treated me very well. Dr. Enriquez, thank you for having removed my cancer, I feel happy because I no longer have it and I will continue to take care of myself. Now I feel much better, still recovering because it was a very big operation.
